Card of the Day, 29 July, 2019 7 of Wands

7 of Wands

Keywords:  Attack, Challenge, Stand your ground

I took a break last week after the Ghosts on the Coast event and reconnecting with the Ocean, just needed some time for myself.  Now it's a new week and I'm ready to continue pulling a Card a day and seeing how that energy manifests in my day.  :-)

Seven of Wands today.  I always like this card.  Yes you may be up against it, but you are standing your ground.  Ready to withstand any attacks.  The world may come at you, or just specific things, but you got this.  You can handle whatever comes your way.  Be strong, be confident.

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take,” said Wayne Gretzky. This is about going after what you want, playing both offense and defense. You’ve gotten this far on your own, and now it’s about sustaining your success and maintaining your reputation. You may be clouded with thoughts like “am I good enough to be here” and experiencing imposter syndrome. Stop it. Remember who you are, review all your previous accomplishments, and know that you got to where you are for a reason. Fight with integrity and honor when you face your challenges. Stand your ground when necessary and don’t back down. Persevere through this challenge, like you have in the past. Not everybody will like you, but they will respect you for standing up for yourself.

Card of the Day, 18 July, 2019

King of Pentacles

Keywords:  Attainment, Prosperity, Abundance

Love the imagery in this deck, and the King of Pentacles is no exception.  I see a James Bond type of figure in this card, or successful businessman.  He's worked hard for what he's got and he's not afraid to share his knowledge with you.  It's not just financial success here, could be spiritual.  Great card, and could indicate you or a male figure in your life.

Large and in charge! Capital in all forms, the King of Pentacles is a sign of security, financial prosperity, and worldly gains. He’s your businessman with proven models, multiple ventures, and growing enterprises. His energy exudes ambition and confidence, rising with every turn of profit he’s ever made. He’s committed and responsible to living his best life, which includes security and financial success. He is a provider, his riches supplying holistic wealth. Opportunities are aplenty, if you are hardworking, open, and earnest. There is a richness in his vibration, which carries from his appearance to his spirituality. Seeking quality over quantity will raise your vibration around people, places, and things. Take pleasure in profit, and watch your wealth reach fulfilling heights!

The Hanged Woman (Man)

Keywords:  Sacrafice, Patience, Suspension

I always enjoy this card.  To me it does not represent being stuck, it's more just a time to take a moment and observe what is going on.  Be still and let things come to you.  Your path, or what action you should take will be revealed soon.

Suspended in time when all is up in the air, this is a stage where you feel stuck between the momentum of the future and the speculation of the past. Delays and indecision are to be expected, and it is in your best interest to prolong any decision making. Think outside of yourself, and try your best to see the big picture. This inconspicuous small moment could bring big impact. Feeling stuck with nowhere to go is temporary. Constant activity keeps the ego busy, but by practicing patience you are allowing other opportunities to unfold for you. Give yourself permission to receive! Delay instant gratification and put in the time and effort so that you can see your big vision come to life. Ask yourself what tiny thing you can give up now to get to the end goal. Sacrifice small pleasures to invest in your long-term success.

8 of Wands

Keywords:  Progress, Movement, Rapid Action

Hmmm, seems like this is the week of Wands.  Actually two cards jumped out of the deck today, the King of Wands and the 8 of Wands.  As I just did the King a few days ago, I figured I'd focus on the 8.

So Wands are 'Action', 'Fire', 'Creativity'.  The 8 is you running on all cylinders, just full out motion.  You are heading to your goal and going full out.  Nothing is going to stop you now.

Ready, set, go! Your steady pace has turned into a full-on sprint and you are now moving faster than ever. Progress is a process, and you are combusting with frenetic force, pushing your plans into rapid action. Things are falling into place, in a serendipitous fashion. Within structure there is freedom, room for more self-expression and creativity. Boundaries enable you to think about the important tasks, funneling your efforts into concentrated focus instead of using up your reserves. Fueled by your passion, you are moving faster than ever, picking up inspiration along the way! Whirlwinds of possibilities flow freely around you, with you in the center of the storm. Take advantage of the opportunities that come your way. The Universe is working in your favor!

Card of the Day, 15 July, 2019

9 of Wands

Keywords:  Wisdom, Perseverance, Last Stretch

On this card I see that you are just about there.  Just one more thing to overcome and you will reach your goal.  You've made it this far, can you keep on going?

Almost there! You can see the finish line, and at the last minute, you are faced with another obstacle. This challenge can be seen as a setback or a test of your character. Expect the worst and protect yourself against any foreseeable attacks. Better to be prepared than to be sorry later! Throughout this journey, you have accumulated experience and gained enough wisdom to handle anything that is thrown your way. You’ve gained tools to deal with your inner struggles and you now have the confidence in your abilities to overcome and persevere. Trust in your strength and power to make it to the end. Learn from your mistakes so that you can navigate setbacks easily in the future. Challenges are difficult, but believe in your abilities to make it through. You can do it!
